Produce your own chlorine—safely, efficiently, and independently. Pool Technologie’s in-situ chlorine generators allow you to generate chlorine directly on-site using only salt and softened water—eliminating the need for external supply chains or frequent chemical deliveries. Unlike traditional saltwater systems, our patented technology keeps salt out of the pool. Instead of integrating the electrolysis cell into the hydraulic circuit, chlorine is produced in a dedicated reactor located in the technical room. The result? A stabilized chlorine solution stored securely and ready for use—without the salt discharge associated with other systems.

Storage time plays a critical role in the degradation of liquid chlorine (typically sodium hypochlorite solution). Over time, the concentration of available chlorine decreases significantly. Studies and field data have shown that concentration losses can reach up to 50% after just 30 days under unfavorable conditions.

This degradation process is significantly accelerated by elevated storage temperatures. Higher temperatures promote the decomposition of hypochlorite ions, leading to the formation of unwanted by-products such as chlorates and oxygen gas, while reducing the disinfectant efficacy of the solution. To minimize chlorine loss, liquid chlorine should be stored in cool, shaded, and well-ventilated areas, preferably in opaque or UV-resistant containers.
